The framework allows you to build components that you can use in your future projects. This is why building dashboards with React is very popular. However, they are costly and may be hard to integrate with your web applications. Yes, there are available dashboard templates on the internet. These tools help them see data in a very understandable format. Dashboards and Other Data Visualization Toolsįor end-users, dashboards and other data visualization tools are very important. With these aspects handled, you can focus more on the business logic of your program. Therefore, you can let Spring Boot take care of resource allocation, scaling, runtimes, security, etc. And, you can use enterprise integration patterns with Spring Integration.īy employing Spring Boot as a backend framework in serverless architecture, you take full advantage of cloud computing. When working on a serverless architecture, you can easily access data with Spring Data. Spring Boot provides developers with features that work well in a serverless environment. By having services running on their own, it makes lightweight applications. This means that Spring Boot allows developers to create and deploy services independently. One of the reasons why Spring Boot is popular is because it uses Microservices Architecture. So, when should you use Spring Boot and React JS? Microservices Architecture Based on your project’s characteristics, some frameworks and technologies suit them more. The question now will be “when should you use them?”Įvery development project has its different requirements and purpose. This means that both frameworks are useful in full stack development. On the other hand, React JS is for client-side development. Why Spring Boot and React JS?Īs established, Spring Boot and ReactJS are very powerful application development tools. However, React is only usable for application user interfaces. Moreover, React is compatible with other JavaScript libraries and frameworks like AngularJS. Web pages developed using ReactJS can change data without reloading. It was developed to be scalable, simple, and fast. In addition, React allows developers to generate reusable user interface (UI) components. It handles the viewing layer of mobile and web apps. What is React JS?Īn open-sourced JavaScript library, React JS (simply React) is used for building interactive web pages. Also, it allows Java developers to develop and run enterprise-grade applications without worrying about configurations and safety. Therefore, Spring Boot is a microframework based on Spring. On the other hand, Spring Boot leans on allowing developers to shorten their code. However, Spring focuses on giving a more flexible platform. Hence, it depends on many Spring features such as Spring Security, Spring Kafka, Spring Web Services, and more. Why? Because Spring Boot was developed under the Spring framework. To understand what Spring Boot is, we have to differentiate it from the Spring framework. ![]()

The WAIS is on its fourth edition and is comprised of 10 core subtests. it's just a small insight into how the practice effect and the entire IQ measuring concept and inflated/deflated thing is misunderstood. The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) is intended for adolescents (16 and over) and adults. Shouldn't it be higher due to the practice effect? Well. Do you know what was my 2nd attempt on the same test? 13ss. Then why can't the same thing happen on IQ testing? Go and see how many amateur blunders the best of them made - it simply happens. But tomorrow, I'll have my thinking blurred and won't be able to solve something much easier. I will solve some insanely heavy and g-loaded problems today. People perform differently because intelligence is not fixed, we are not always at our best, and our brain doesn't work in the same mode on every test. That's why we usually don't correlate higher than 0.6-0.75 between even the most accurate tests. Many studies show a 1-1.5SD of difference in scores between professionally administered tests - it's something pretty common. It doesn't make one inflated or another deflated. My FSIQ on WAIS-IV administered by a psychologist is 142, RAPM set II 144, while my Raven's 2 is 147 - so it's pretty much in my actual range. You can't make rules based on isolated cases. That's how I see the practice effect phenomenon and it's impact on IQ scores. Well, you'll agree, it would not be logical that there is a greater influence of the practice effect than in the case when we do the same test twice. Let's compare that to taking a completely different test, of the same type. Now, that is the scientific definition of the practice effect phenomenon. See the difference in scores and judge whether what I am saying makes sense. After a few more days, repeat it a third time. After a few hours or a few days, try to do it again. Therefore, the practice effect is overhyped and mentioned too much without a valid reason and cover. And even when repeating the same test on the same day, the score increases on average by 2 more correct answers, which is about 5-8 points. I have not found anywhere a scientific study on the practice effect when doing different tests, of a similar type. After all, the practice effect is a phenomenon that is observed when the score changes when repeating the same test. I have never heard of a case where someone over the age of 18 increased their score on matrix reasoning tests by one SD or more, no matter how much they practiced this type of tests. No matter how much you practice matrix reasoning patterns and no matter how many tests of that type you take, when you take these two tests, you realize that your score that you usually get on those tests remained unchanged with a minimal difference of 3-5 points. But on many tests, what is important is the potential, the maximum that you can provide. In some tests, the effect of surprise and novelty is important. But let's look at it from the other side. As for your 119 Mensa Dk score, it is realistically 123-125, because that test is deflated due to the selective biased sample on which it is standardized. So your score on this digit span test can be considered valid, no worries. ![]() There really is no difference - as the saying goes ‘if you are a rose you will bloom, regardless of the circumstances’. I took the official WAIS-IV with a psychologist and that DS was just as difficult for me as the online one and my score was exactly the same. Well, you see, it all depends on the person and it is a matter of a very subjective nature. But to be sure, subtract 4-5 points and then it's mostly a realistic score. This means that anything above 40 correct answers should have been at least 125. In the higher range the situation is very clear because the official test has a ceiling of 160. The only thing that there is doubt about are the norms, because we do not know how Pearsons calculates the score, but this is the case only in the lower range. Raven's 2 automated is basically Raven's 2 long form posted on Wiki, and it's actually one full session recorded from q-global. The findings of our study provide better insight in understanding the clinical significance of MEN1 gene in the breast cancer cases. Thereby our study targets to untangle MEN1 expression at mRNA and protein level and also evaluate its epigenetic and polymorphic alterations in sporadic breast cancer patients. The previously published literature signifies the distinctive functions of MEN1 in breast cancer patients and also provides scope to evaluate its anomalous expression and connection with clinical parameters. Apart from being co-activator for ERα, it also regulates expression of ESR in ER+ breast cancer cell that further supports its proliferative function in sporadic breast cancer cases. Moreover, for antiestrogen therapy drugs that bind to the AF2 domain of the ERα, menin’s interaction with this region could be the reason in patients with MEN1 overexpression to develop resistance to adjuvant therapy. In recent studies, direct interaction of menin with AF2 domain of ERα in estrogen positive cell line has been reported and it might promote ERα dependent transcription and proliferation. Disruption in hormonal balance due to MEN1 mutations or its altered expression can potentially contribute to breast cancer development. The expression of MEN1 in the mammary glands may be controlled by the level of released hormones, such as prolactin, and have a negative response in the process of milk protein synthesis via PI3K/Akt/mTOR. Īlthough research in this field is ongoing, the role of MEN1 in the onset and progression of breast cancer is not fully known. However, a paradoxical role of menin is reported in sporadic breast cancer cases, where it shows proliferative function and is also linked with resistance to drug and endocrine therapy. MEN1 deficiency is widely associated with an increased risk of developing breast cancer in female patients with MEN1 syndrome. Also, the oncogenic behaviour of MEN1, through its direct interaction with MLL to promote leukemogenesis is well documented in prior studies. Patients with overexpression of MEN1 in prostate and hepatocellular carcinoma reportedly show poor survival when compared to patients with low MEN1 expression. Apart from mutational anomalies, expressional variations of MEN1 are widely recognised in MEN1 related disorders. MEN1 has an enigmatic character and can function as an oncogene in cancers including leukaemia, prostate cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma or as a tumor suppressor in endocrine tumors. The functional importance of menin has been thoroughly defined in previous studies, highlighting its decisive role in number of epigenetic regulations, DNA repair and metabolic pathways. Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia 1 ( MEN1) gene that encodes menin protein having three isoforms and is located on chromosome 11 (11q13.1) is classically known for germline inactivating mutations in several endocrine tumors. Hence, meticulous understanding of breast cancer associated genes as well as their pathogenic mechanism is crucial to develop preventive and therapeutic methods. The multifarious nature of origin and progression of the disease makes it more challenging for the treatment. Predominantly the breast cancer can originate by hyper-proliferation of milk producing glands or ductal epithelial cells of the breast. The recent decade has witnessed a tremendous rise in incidence of breast cancer and according to globocan data it is the 2 nd leading cause of death among women globally. the author has played role editing and proof reading of the manuscript.Ĭompeting interests: The authors have declared that no competing interests exist.
